Can one man watch every Star Trek episode in one year?

Posted on July 5th, 2008

If that sounds like an amazing feat, try adding on all of the movies and chase it down with a few Star Trek books as well. Think it’s impossible? Well one man is attempting to do the impossible and blogging about it while on his one-year mission, to boldly consume all that is Star Trek.

The blog named My Star Trek Year chronicles William I. Lengeman III’s attempt to watch every Star Trek episode and movie that has been produced. According to his blog that is over 700 episodes and 11 films and he’s keeping a running count. At the time of this posting, he’s up to 297 episodes, 3 movies, and 7 books.

Seriously, I doubt I could make it through another round of Riker’s chick habits or anything that happened on Voyager before Jeri Ryan.  If this guy makes it through the entire collection then he needs to be in the Guiness Book of World Records.

So check out My Star Trek Year to keep up on his running count and commentary on the episodes.

X Minus One Podcast

When it comes to science fiction audio, nothing sets the standard better than X Minus One. This radio show was broadcast from 1955 to 1958 over NBC Radio and featured half hour long science fiction stories.

This X Minus One Podcast is a must have - this was old time radio at it’s best and excellent science fiction as well. This radio show inspired many modern scifi writers who as children listened to the show and wondered about what could be out there.
